What will I learn?

Mindfulness is the practice of noticing what is happening inside us in a non-judgemental way. This gentle, yet impactful practice is a tool that allows us to turn toward our internal experience with curiosity, rather than judgement. In this course you will learn to be fully present, connected and engaged in your sexual experience and response. Why is this? It’s because our brain is our BIGGEST sexual organ. We know from the research that those struggling with low desire, libido or connectivity with their body scan differently in fMRIs than those who do not. This is because there’s a disconnect between the body and the mind. Essentially the brain has disengaged and it doesn’t matter how much you compensate with physical stimulation, if the brain is offline, your desire, libido or connectivity will stay the same.

This course is designed, through Mindfulness practice, to teach your brain to reconnect to the body so as to reawaken and enhance your sexual experience.

WEEK 1

This week we examine the latest research around sexual desire and why there is a worrying trend (**hint people are having LESS sex and are less interested than ever before!), what some of the causes are and how we can start to counteract it. You will be introduced to Mindfulness and we will start our first practice together - you will need a raisin for this exercise.

WEEK 2

We introduce the Body Scan, where the aim is for you to become aware of whatever sensations are present in different parts of your body in each passing moment. This Mindfulness practice is a great way to start connecting the dots between your body and desire.

WEEK 3

This week we learn a sexual sensations awareness exercise. This exercise is a game-changer and a technique that allows you to start to pair arousal with Mindfulness and really pay attention to your body in that state.  This is where we start helping your mind to sync with your body.

WEEK 4

In the final week of this course we put the final piece of the puzzle together, our thoughts. We engage with a Mindfulness practice that will help you to learn to pay attention to your thoughts and see them as a byproduct of your brains daily activity.  We learn how to see your thoughts as simply that, thoughts.  Removing some of their power and dominance and creating more room for you to focus on pleasurable sensations in the bedroom.

You will also have access to a workbook to help you along this learning journey, with extra exercises, tools, tips and strategies to help elevate your results.
